U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Senior Deputy Assistant Administrator for Asia Mr. Mark Ward visited Mongolia May 29-31. Mr. Ward attended the 11th Microfinance Conference on May 31 and gave a presentation entitled "Recent Lessons Learned and Future Challenges in Microfinance." During his visit, he met with Vice Minister of Finance Namdag Battsereg and Finance Ministry officials, U.S. Ambassador Mark Minton and USAID Mongolia Director Barry Primm, and toured a number of USAID projects.
