U.S. EMBASSY PRESS RELEASE

June 3, 2008

U.S. Ambassador Mark C. Minton conveyed his condolences to President Enkhbayar regarding the tragic loss of life during the heavy sand and snow storms that struck Sukhbaatar, Khentii, and Dornod aimags on May 26 and 27.  Ambassador Minton said the U.S. Embassy would soon provide $25,000 to assist in humanitarian and relief efforts in these areas.
